- Log in to the Restaurant Dashboard and navigate to the Menu Editor tab
- Go to the Search or Add Products field and type in the item name you wish to add.
- A dropdown menu will appear showing all available items with a similar name or keyword to what you typed in. If the item you want to add is already listed, choose it from the options. If the item is not yet available, select the "Create New Product" option at the bottom.
- When you choose the Create New Product option, you will be directed to the page below.
Provide the name, photo, and description of the product. Select the category from the drop-down list where the item will be organised for customers to view on the menu. You have the option to change this in the next step.

After clicking "Save Details," additional fields will appear. Take a moment to review the descriptions of each field and then proceed to fill them out. These fields include:
1. Vendor Code: This code will be displayed on your order screen when orders are received.
2. Vendor Category: By using this field, you have the ability to override the standard product category name. If you want to add the item to an existing category, make sure the spelling matches exactly.
3. Price: Enter the price for the item.
4. Status: If you are ready to sell the item, set the status to "available." If you wish to temporarily remove the item from the menu, set the status to "unavailable."
5. Product Options: This is where you can include add-ons, sizing options, sides, and any additional requests for the item.
- Remember to click "Save Details" to save your changes. Once saved, the menu item should now appear on the menu. Double-check that the price and description are correct.
